How to Book:

For most conditions, we recommend our 25 gram Vitamin C Intensive as this program starts with an IV Vitamin Drip and includes supportive vitamins and minerals throughout your treatment.

However, we also provide single treatments of Vitamin C from 10 grams to 100 grams.

Any treatment over 10 grams requires a negative G6PD blood test. As a courtesy, we can draw, process and deliver your blood sample to Quest Diagnostics Lab who will then bill you and/or your insurance. You are fully responsible for the full costs of this blood test as billed by Quest Diagnostics Lab. Any billing questions need to be directed to Quest Diagnostics Lab. The cost of this blood test varies depending upon your insurance plan and is not included in this treatment series.

IV Therapy Doc's 25 gram Vitamin C Intensive Treatment Program can vary depending upon what you need. For most conditions, we recommend 25 gram treatments.

More Information:

IV Therapy Doc utilizes high dose Vitamin C for multiple conditions based on research. Research on the relationship between vitamin C, cancer and heart disease in particular has been a subject of interest for many years. Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble antioxidant vitamin that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including collagen synthesis, immune function, and the neutralization of free radicals.

Some key areas of Vitamin C research include:

  1. Antioxidant Properties: Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that can help neutralize free radicals in the body, reducing oxidative stress and protecting cells from damage.

  2. Potential Anti-Cancer Properties: Some studies suggest that high-dose IV Vitamin C therapy, when used in combination with conventional cancer treatments, may help improve quality of life and reduce certain side effects of cancer therapies. In laboratory studies and animal models, high-dose vitamin C has shown anti-cancer properties. It has been observed to promote apoptosis (programmed cell death) in cancer cells, inhibit tumor growth, and reduce angiogenesis (formation of blood vessels that supply tumors.

  3. Combination Chemotherapy: Some studies have explored the use of high-dose intravenous vitamin C (IVC) in combination with standard cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The rationale is that vitamin C may enhance the effectiveness of these treatments and reduce their side effects.

  4. Blood Pressure Regulation: Some studies have suggested that vitamin C supplementation may have a modest, but significant, effect in reducing blood pressure, particularly in individuals with hypertension (high blood pressure).

  5. Endothelial Function: Endothelial cells line the inside of blood vessels and play a critical role in regulating vascular function. Vitamin C has been associated with improved endothelial function, which can contribute to better blood flow and overall heart health.

  6. Cholesterol Levels: Research indicates that vitamin C may help reduce LDL cholesterol (often referred to as "bad" cholesterol) levels, which can contribute to the development of atherosclerosis (narrowing of arteries due to plaque buildup).

  7. Reduced Risk of Heart Disease: Some observational studies have found associations between higher vitamin C intake or blood levels and a reduced risk of heart disease.

  8. Boosting Immune System: Vitamin C plays a crucial role in supporting the immune system. IV Vitamin C therapy is sometimes used as a complementary treatment for viral infections, like the common cold or flu.

  9. Reduced Cancer Risk Potential: Some observational studies have suggested that higher dietary intake of vitamin C and higher blood levels of vitamin C are associated with a reduced risk of certain cancers, including those of the breast, lung, and stomach.

  10. Wound Healing: Vitamin C is essential for collagen synthesis, which is crucial for wound healing. IV Vitamin C therapy may be used to support the healing process in certain medical conditions or after surgery.

  11. Reducing Inflammation: Vitamin C has anti-inflammatory properties, and IV therapy might be used in conditions where reducing inflammation is beneficial.

  12. Energy Boost and Fatigue Reduction: Some people believe that IV Vitamin C therapy can provide an energy boost and reduce fatigue, although more research is needed to substantiate this claim.

  13. Support for Chronic Illnesses: IV Vitamin C therapy has been explored as a potential supportive treatment for chronic conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. However, further research is required to confirm its efficacy.

  14. Skin Health: IV Vitamin C can lighten and brighten skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and improve itching and redness of eczema and psoriasis.
