WHAT SETS IV THERAPY DOC APART FROM OTHER IV THERAPY CLINICS?

Nurse placing IV

Our expertise and attention to the purity and quality of your IV Therapy Doc treatment is unparalleled. As we specialize in treating chronic disease, our goals are to see reduction in your ailments and an overall improvement in your health. As a result, our treaments tend to contain higher doses of nutrients than typical clinics. Our IV Therapy Doc, Alexis Anvekar MD, has a degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and she has expertly developed each treatment to reach your cells intact with the fullest bioavailabilty. In addition, we source all ingredients from FDA-approved pharmacies and prepare your IV Therapy Doc treatment on site in a laminar flow clean hood to ensure purity of your treatment.

HOW DOES IV THERAPY WORK?

Stress, illness, intense exercise, gut inflammation and sub-optimal diets deplete our nutrients. In addition, we each have individual variations in our DNA that may affect the ability of our cells to absorb nutrients even if they are plentiful in our diets. In our experience, many people may feel run down with brain fog, depression, anxiety, chronic illness or lessened stamina or fatigue.  Our professional IV Therapy Doc Treatment Programs will help you unlock your body's power to achieve better health. We feel that your body knows how to heal itself if it has the building blocks available to drive forward all of the inner gears of each cell. Taking vitamins intravenously when the formulas are properly developed to ensure maximum absorption can be a game-changer and the bioavaility can approach 100% compared to very low bioavaility for many oral nutrients. When your cells have what they need, they can better function--which leads to a better sense of well-being and health.

IS IV THERAPY MORE EFFECTIVE THAN TAKING VITAMIN PILLS?

Oral nutrients can be very helpful in optimizing health. Shots are quick and easy. But, IV Therapy is the best way to deliver nutrients to your cells. Taking Vitamin C supplementation as an example, our gut will absorb about 300 mg of a first pill, 250 mg of a second pill, and nearly nothing from any additional pills. In other words, no matter how many pills one takes, only 500 mg will be absorbed. Vitamin C shots sting and most people can tolerate only low doses of around 250 mg to 500 mg. However, intravenous Vitamin C has been well studied and medical research shows that we can safely infuse over 75,000 mg in one session.

HOW LONG DO TREATMENTS TAKE?

Our treatments range from a few minutes to a few hours depending on the formula. Most treatments take about 40 minutes.

IS IT SAFE?

Yes. Our ingredients are preservative-free nutrients that are familiar to your body as each nutrient is already in your body in some concentration. We have found reactions to be uncommon and, if present, will typically be nausea that resolves within seconds of pausing the IV Therapy.

DO YOU TREAT MINORS OR PREGNANT PATIENTS?

We treat ages 16 and up. Minors will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If you're pregnant, we will need a prescription from your Obstetrician.

ARE WALK-INS WELCOME?

Due to space and scheduling issues, we can only sometimes accommodate walk-ins. However, we can often get you in right away. Give us a call to make a same-day appointment.

DO YOU ACCEPT HEALTH INSURANCE?

Believe us, we wish insurance companies valued this type of specialty intravenous care and we've tried and failed many times to bill insurance for IV treatments. We've repeatedly found that insurance companies just won't pay for vitamins no matter how they are administered.

However, check back because we are continually trying to devise a way to get help from your insurance company especiallly when treating chronic illnesses.

DO YOU GIVE QUANTITY DISCOUNTS?

Yes, we give discounts for multiple IV Therapy Doc treatment packs. Please see our pricing page.
